A motion to allow Ladies to play on the green for one afternoon per week was rejected 27 votes to 17
22nd March 1948
Mr A Hodge again put forward the proposal that the ladies be allowed on the green one day per week. Mr R McGee thought this would cause the green to be destroyed!

Congratulations to the members of the Senior Ladies Rink, B Cook, M Lawson, R Ballantyne and N Turner (skip) who qualified for the National Champion Finals in Ayr this July. The ladies reached the semifinal of this competition but were beaten by Airdrie Bowling Club |

The Ladies of Tillicoultry Bowling Club did themselves and the Club proud by winning 3 Trophies in the County Finals played at Dollar Bowling Club on Wednesday 23rd June
